Our Story
Founder, Kevin Lancaster, observed that many companies in the industry share one commonality; they execute deceptive business practices. He saw exploitation of his beloved coworkers and clients over his 20 years in the industry. He had trouble morally aligning with his work and sought out to pave his own way in the construction world.
“The entire business in everything that we do is based on the people. It's not the procedures. It's not the programs put in place. It's not the management. It's the people that make it happen and they should get that respect. It's not that way in the industry and I think a lot of people are forced to work in circumstances and for people who don't understand, care, or appreciate those individuals as human beings.”
After some success, he realized that he wanted to share our experiences with others.
“Instead of doing this for me, I wanted to do this for other people. Especially all the wonderful people I had met over my career.”
So, he created Top Notch Transformations and sought out all those exceptional people he had met. Top Notch Transformations now has three passionate and extraordinary partners, each of them bringing their own unique experience and benevolence. They all have the same intention; they want to help grow and support the finest people in the construction world.

He ran a successful construction company before becoming a partner at Top Notch. Marc has also spent time in the industry as a project manager and on-site supervisor. He truly feels that if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.

Eric Redelman

Eric is a partner at Top Notch, where he works on sales, estimating and manages projects from start to finish. He started working in the trades in high school. He worked with a local flooring company in Central Indiana, where he learned the ropes of the tile-setting world. He has a passion for learning new skills. This has come in handy and has contributed to his growth in his two decades in the industry. His areas of expertise include tile, framing, commercial safety, and project management.
Eric's favorite part about working at TNT is getting to meet a wide variety of people, all with different stories. He enjoys helping them find solutions to their various challenges. One quote that has stuck with him is "The job is the boss."
Family and service to others are paramount to Eric. He believes offering a helping hand to someone in need is essential. In his spare time, you'll find him with his wife, Sarah, and daughter, Christine, at one of their niece's or nephew's games, matches or plays. Eric and Sarah can also be found hiking in the woods and enjoying nature.
One of Eric's favorite quotes is "Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body." by Seneca.
